Iradj Alexander winner in Pau (France)
Bellinzona (Switzerland), 8 May, 2005 -- Swiss driver Iradj Alexander won Saturday 7 May his first competition in the French's GT championship, disputed on the urban circuit of Pau. Alexander and the co-driver Gaël Lesoudier of Red Racing team put in line a patrol of Viper. Arrived at the fifth appointment in the calendar, games stays more than ever open.
First place in race 1, sixth place on Sunday with new technical problems. This is the balance of Iradj Alexander weekend in Pau (France). A Lister Storm won for the first time a race in French's GT Championship: Red Racing team manager can be satisfied. And Iradj Alexander too.
Starting on Saturday from the second place after a good qualification. Technicians could resolve a steering limitation that caused a lot of matters during the first day.
The race was extremely fought and in the last laps Iradj Alexander reached the leading place, winning the competition after 39 laps in 54'39''. The Swiss pilot is clearly excited of his performance and wants to thank all his team for the effort since season's start, and the co-driver Lesoudier too. On Sunday the Lister Storm team finished in sixth place the second round, even for technical problems.
