A driver of the powerful Exclusive Autosport team, Konrad Czaczyk started his weekend by clinching pole position for the 15-lap race held Saturday at the picturesque Mont-Tremblant circuit in Québec.

Roman de Angelis set the second fastest time in qualifying in his Piper. He was followed on the starting grid by Dev Gore in a Spectrum and Didier Scharenen in a CMV.

At the green, Czaczyk powered into the lead, followed by De Angelis and Gore. On Lap 2, Gore moved into second place.

On Lap 5, Gore and De Angelis started to fight for second place, and one lap later, De Angelis powered into second spot.

Didier Schraenen was having a lonely race in fourth place but he received a wake up call from Dominic Legrand who was now chasing him.

On Lap 11, De Angelis ran with the leading Czaczyk, while behind them Schranen and Legrand entered in a fight for fourth position.

On the penultimate lap, Czaczyk and De Angelis negotiated the fast Corner 1 side by side, but Czaczyk held on to the lead.

At the chequered, Czaczyk was first, only feet in front of the car of De Angelis. Gore finished third, with Legrand in fourth, having passed veteran Schraenen. Mathew Taskinen, Jacob Astren and Michel Legrand completed the top eight.
