The #7 JDX Crawford-Honda F4-16 will be sponsored by Expedia and the 22-year-old from Denver, Co., who finished 15th in his rookie season, is one of seven returning F4 U.S. competitors in the 2017 line-up.
Davis Durrett of Carmel, Indiana, Raphael Forcier of Montreal, Steve Bamford of Toronto, Skylar Robinson of Augusta, Georgia, Austin Kaszuba of Burleson, Texas, Alan Miller of Newport Beach, California, and Baltazar Leguizamon of Buenos Aires, Argentina, have all announced campaigns for a second F4 U.S. season.
Mount fills the first of three planned seats for JDX, which begins the defense of its crown in the season-opener at Homestead-Miami road course on April 8-9.
“We are excited to have Blake back after a successful rookie season,” said JDX Racing team owner Jeremy Dale. “Blake’s off-season work will pay dividends in the highly completive F4 U.S. Championship.
“We are honored to be competing for a second year and we are confident Blake will give our team plenty of time at the front of the field.”
Mount, whose best result in 2016 was a sixth at Mid-Ohio, stated: “I can’t wait to get back to Homestead Miami Speedway and get this season going.
“We’ve had some big improvements over the off-season and I know our team is up for the challenge to repeat as the championship winning team.”
