The Josef Kaufmann driver eased past front-row starter Max Defourny to take the lead and remained unchallenged throughout the 13-lap race.

Meanwhile, R-ace GP’s Defourny had Tech 1’s Dorian Boccolacci all over his rear, with the two exchanging places, but the Belgian managing to hold second after Lap 1.

Up ahead, with a dominant win, Norris secured the 2016 rookie title with five wins to his name, also extending points lead in the main standings.

Defourny settled for second, as Boccolacci completed the rostrum. The Frenchman was able to get back on the Belgian, but unable to make a move, finishing 0.300s behind.

Tech 1’s Gabriel Aubry took his best finish of the season at fourth, after Race 1 winner Harrison Scott spun on his own, while running in the top four.

The third Tech 1 car of Sacha Fenestraz and Fortec’s Ferdinand Habsburg were fifth and sixth respectively, both having overtaken Josef Kaufmann’s Jehan Daruvala at the start.

The Indian finishing seventh keeping Hugo de Sadeleer at bay, with AVF's Scott eventually classified ninth.

R-ace GP’s Will Palmer completed the top 10, after battling Josef Kaufmann’s Robert Shwartzman.
