Following her success at Donington a fortnight ago, Pippa Mann returns to Brands Hatch for the second Formula Renault 2.0 UK round to be staged at the historic circuit this year. Having achieved her best results to date with an eleventh and ninth place respectively in the last two British championship races, Mann and Comtec Racing will be looking to repeat their Donington accomplishments, and come away with some more top tens!

Mann began her 2006 campaign at Brands Hatch back in April, where the weekend proved to be difficult for the Norfolk based team. After a stunning first day's practice on Friday, Mann struggled with the car during qualifying and Sunday's races, leaving her with a troubled start to the season. However, the team has made much progress throughout the year and have no doubt that any problems experienced that weekend should not hinder them this time.

"We raised the bar at Donington a couple of weeks ago, and I was really thrilled with the results," said Mann, "and I think a lot of it came down to our improved qualifying performance. This will again be the important factor at Brands Hatch this weekend, but I do believe we will have the entire package. We did struggle back with this circuit back in April, but for reasons we have now resolved, and I'm very much looking forward to getting back out there and showing what we can do!"
