Race One (11:35AM Sunday) Pos. Driver Car Fast.Lap On 1 Glenn Seton 30 1:34.5104 3 2 Russell Ingall8 1:35.5330 2 3 Greg Murphy 15 1:35.6055 7 4 Larry Perkins 11 1:36.0225 3 5 John Bowe 18 1:35.9443 2 6 Alan Jones 9 1:35.9248 2 7 Dick Johnson 17 1:36.2978 3 8 Tony Longhurst25 1:37.0446 2 9 John Faulkner 46 1:36.9145 9 10 Steven Ellery 52 1:37.8571 2

Holden Racing Team Notes on Race One: Peter Brock had problems with his car's drive shaft on the start line, and basically just sat there. Mark Larkham, in avoiding Brock's car, went off the track into a bank of tyres, totally destroying his car. Brock's car will be repaired for Race Two. Murphy was leading Ingall until the second last corner.

Race Two (1:20PM Sunday) Pos. Driver Car Fast. Lap On 1 Russell Ingall 8 1:35.3199 3 2 Larry Perkins 11 1:36.0437 2 3 Glenn Seton 30 1:35.9586 2 4 Greg Murphy 15 1:36.1069 2 5 John Bowe 18 1:36.2497 3 6 Alan Jones 9 1:36.2118 3 7 Dick Johnson 17 1:36.1835 5 8 John Faulkner 46 1:36.3737 5 9 Peter Brock 05 1:35.9851 4 10 Steven Richards34 1:36.6322 2

Holden Racing Team Notes on Race Two: This race was shortened by 4 laps after Greg Murphy suffered some sort of tyre trouble (probably a puncture) and went off the track at over 200kph. Murphy is bruised and winded, and has been rushed to Wonthagi hospital for observation. His car is a wreck.

Race Three (3:55PM Sunday) Pos. Driver Car Fast. Lap On 1 Larry Perkins 11 1:36.1774 8 2 Russell Ingall 8 1:36.1852 8 3 Alan Jones 9 1:36.0787 4 4 John Bowe 18 1:36.0224 4 5 Peter Brock 05 1:36.2052 5 6 Dick Johnson 17 1:36.3324 5 7 John Faulkner 46 1:36.2124 6 8 Steven Richards34 1:36.0246 6 9 Tony Longhurst 25 1:36.6483 3 10 Mark Poole 38 1:37.1809 5

Notes on Race Three: The round favorite, Glenn Seton, did not start in this race, pulling off the grid on the green light. Some sort of mechanical problem is to blame, we believe. Other than that, an uneventfull race, with positions not changing after some initial jostling at the back.

Series Total Points: 1 - Russell Ingall 144pts. 2 - Glenn Seton 134pts. 3 - Alan Jones 120pts. ---- 6 - Greg Murphy 108pts. 8 - Peter Brock 74pts.
