Blue all over

Blue skies, mechanics in Chevrolet blue and blue cars in front of the grid what more can we ask for?

Not bad as a starting point but there is still a long way to go to the chequered flag Henrik Lundgaard cautiously points out right after the final qualifying where he and Michael Outzen wiped out the scoreboard again.

During the free training they drove the fastest laps indicating their intentions. However, since every driver pull all strings when it comes to qualifying, laptimes from training is only as an indication for the actual status. Today they turned out to be solid. Actuallt both Henrik and Michael improved their best lap a few tenth of a second right from the beginning and returned to pit lane to wait. They did not return to the track until Martin Jensen had inched himself into a gap of 6/100 of a second.

The lead was secured putting the two Lacetti's on the first row when the field rolls toward the starting line to morrow.

Both drivers gave their compliments to the crew from Perfection Racing that has been working long hours for some time.

It has been a couple of tough weeks with tests and races every weekend and the guys were getting tired, but it was all gone when we put down the fastest times, Michael Outzen grinned when he personally had paid his honour to each of the mechanics.
