Jorg MÜLLER -- BMW Team Deutschland, 4th in Race 1 and 1st in Race 2
"I didn't expect this result at all! First of all, I'd like to say that this victory is dedicated to my Mum. It was her birthday yesterday, and I think this is only the second time she's been at a race track in her life. I think she was very nervous. When she blew out the candles yesterday, she said she wished for me to win the race, and I'm happy that she got her wish granted. Now, we will carry those 40 kg for the next race-- It will be very difficult with so much ballast. We were lucky here, because I think the Alfa Romeos would have been very strong in the races. SEAT has made a big step forward as well. I think there are about ten cars who are able to win, which is really good for the championship."

Dirk MÜLLER -- BMW Team Deutschland, 2nd in Race 1 and 3rd in Race 2
"I still don't believe it. We came here with 30 and 40 kg in the car and thought we might be able to finish in the top ten, maybe, some points would be good. And now Jorg won one race and I finished on the podium in both! This is a really great result. The second race was good. I almost got the lead on the last laps. There was a lot of slipstream playing around, and Jorg and me took turns at leading the race. And I think Antonio also tried his best. We had a little clinch, but this is touring cars, and that shouldn't be a problem."

Andy PRIAULX -- BMW Team Great Britain, 1st in Race 1 and DNF in Race 2
"I knew I needed to do well in the first race because I knew that the second one would be tough. Anyway, we did the job we needed to do! I managed to find a good set-up for the second race and made some really good progress. Unfortunately, I had an incident that damaged the car. The car has been great from the beginning of the weekend. It's all credit to the team that I've been able to drive consistently all weekend. In both races, I set the fastest lap, so we know we had the potential to go up into the top-four battle, for sure."

Antonio GARCÍA -- BMW Team Italy-Spain, 6th in Race 1 and 2nd in Race 2
"We were really late with the set-up in free practice, and then we found something in qualifying that gave me the opportunity to be at the front. But the car was really difficult to drive after a couple of laps. In the first race I ran over some gravel and spun off. Even while I was spinning, I was already thinking to the second race. We made some changes between the races, and I started once again on old tyres. My start was okay, but Rydell made a really good start. I could pass him and gain the lead, and then I tried to get away. But Jorg was really good and I couldn't hold him behind me. Then he and Dirk started fighting, and this gave me the opportunity to finish second."

Jordi GEN? -- SEAT Sport, 3rd in Race 1 and 4th in Race 2
"This is the first time we have fought for a podium this year. It proves that we are competitive, that we are right there! I think we could even tackle a win this season. I hope out of the four SEAT drivers, it will be me again the first to get there. It's been a great weekend. We have already had a good weekend in Magny-Cours, but it didn't show on the papers, because we were a bit unlucky there. But everything worked well here, and that's really good for the team and also for my own confidence."

Rickard RYDELL -- SEAT Sport, 8th in Race 1 and 5th in Race 2 @"I was hoping for more after starting from pole in the second race, but the understeer problem started very early, and so I had to ease off to look after my tyres. I'm very pleased with race 1, though; next time I just have to do two races like that! It's also very encouraging to see how much closer to the others we're getting. The next aim for us is to get onto the podium regularly and to score as many points as possible."

Gabriele TARQUINI -- AutoDelta Squadra Corse, DNF in Race 1 and 6th in Race 2
"It was a weekend to quickly forget. However, I scored some points in the second race, and they were totally unexpected after the first race disaster, and with my car full of aches from the pile-up. I was following Giovanardi in seventh position, and I was preparing to outbrake him, when two cars arrived from the back at a crazy speed. I was hit and sent into Fabrizio's car. He spun, and we found ourselves forming a T in the middle of the track. Thus I had also wait for him to restart before rejoining in my turn."

Luca RANGONI -- Oregon Team, 7th in Race 1 and 7th in Race 2
"This was actually the first very good weekend for me. The team did a good job with my car, and I tried to do my best in both races as well. It was not easy, because both races were very tough; there were a lot of accidents and collisions. But I the end, I'm very happy. I think this is a very promising weekend for the rest of the championship. I hope we can fight for the Independents Trophy."

Jan MAGNUSSEN -- Peugeot Sport Engineering, 10th in Race 1 and 12th in Race 2
"The end result was a good one for us, I think. We had a small problem towards the end of the second race. I was in position to challenge Zanardi and maybe reach the top-ten, but I dropped back to twelve. But we have been improving the car all the weekend. You know, we're doing small steps forward all the time. I think we should be very happy with this result. It's as good as we can hope for at the moment."

Carl ROSENBLAD -- Crawford Racing, 17th in Race 1 and 13th in Race 2
"The first race started off really good. Then, unfortunately, D'Aste made a mistake and ran into my back. A few things were broken, I came in, and we tried to get the car ready for the second race. It wasn't perfect , but at least we got some points. We've been improving very much, though. We were really close here. We didn't gain too many places, but at least we're much closer to where the heat is. We found the heat, though it might have been too hot this time."

Simon HARRISON -- GR Asia, DNF in Race 1 and 14th in Race 2
"The first race I just got spun around by Rydell. It was totally unnecessary. I don't know why he felt the need to do that. That ended my race immediately. I'm quite pleased with the second race. We've made substantial improvement. The car is more consistent to drive now, and I'm very happy with that. I think from here, we can very quickly improve the car and our results."
