Monger to star in ASI Live Action Arena

Monger had both legs amputated after a Formula 4 crash at Donington Park last April, but is hoping to return to single-seater racing.

His rehabilitation process has been assisted by Mission Motorsport, a charity run by veterans, serving officers and motorsport professionals that exists to aid the recovery and rehabilitation of those affected by military operations by providing opportunities through motorsport.

Monger will join up with stunt driver Grant and a team of Mission Motorsport drivers to perform a variety of stunts in the Live Action Arena in four Jaguar F-Types.

The Live Action show will also feature a NASCAR demonstration with a Cup car being driven around the indoor course by 2000 champion Bobby Labonte.

Other highlights of the hour-long event include Ginetta Racing Drivers Club, autograss and BriSCA F1 stock cars races, a Ford Fiesta World Rallycross car and an Aston Martin Vantage.

The show is presented by Sky Sports Formula 1 commentator David Croft and popular social media vlogger Shmee150.

Autosport International, the world's largest motorsport show, takes place at the NEC in Birmingham this week, with two trade days on January 11-12 before it opens to the public on January 13-14.
