MOSCOW (March 11, 2015) – Motorsport.com, the premier source worldwide for online motor sports content, today announced its entry into the largest country in the world – Russia - as part of a global growth strategy campaign aimed at winning new markets for the most valuable domain name in motor sports. Motorsport.com’s operations in this region will include an editorial, marketing and business development office located in Moscow.

Motorsport.com – RUSSIA, will provide Russian fans of auto racing up-to-the minute news, in-depth analytics and unique interactive and multimedia content, including images, graphics, videos and live streams - all in native tongue.

Overseen by the worldwide editorial direction of global Motorsport.com Editor in Chief Charles Bradley, the Russian site will cover major racing series, including Formula 1, World Endurance Championship, MotoGP, World Rally Championship, FIA Formula E, World Touring Car Championships and others.

Today’s news expands on Motorsport.com’s growing worldwide global footprint and delivery of online motor sports news content and digital media platforms, including the recent announcement of the brand’s entry into Latin America and Europe.

Alexander Kabanovsky named Editor in Chief of Motorsport.com – RUSSIA

Motorsport.com announced today that Alexander Kabanovsky has been appointed Editor in Chief of Motorsport.com – RUSSIA. Kabanovsky’s appointment is effective immediately.

Kabanovsky previously led the Russian editorial team of Autosport.com and F1News.ru collaborating with leading motorsport online and offline media, having covered motorsport events for almost two decades and is a member of International Federation of Journalists. In the role of official announcer, Alexander commentated on live broadcasts of F1, WTCC, Le Mans 24 and many other series. He is also well known as a guest motorsport expert on TV, radio and press.

As the leader of Motorsport.com - Russia, he will oversee the local editorial office operations and content policy. The Russian editorial office will report directly to Motorsport.com Editor in Chief Charles Bradley who manages the worldwide editorial direction of the brand.
