Riley Technologies Getting the 2010 Racing Season Started Early
Track Day Car on display at PRI Show as testing kicks off in Daytona

Mooresville, NC (7 December 2009)--While many are focusing on the celebrations surrounding the holidays, the racers at Riley Technologies (a division of SEA STAR GROUP, INC. Stock Symbol SGQZ) are already hard at work on the 2010 racing season as the Mooresville-based organization gears up for another year of competition with a busy week in Florida.

The acclaimed Riley Technologies Track Day Car (TDC), which recently scored honors as the "Ultimate Track Car" in the Grassroots Motorsports magazine Hankook Ultimate Track Car Challenge, will slow down just long enough for show-goers to get a closer look at next weekend's Performance Racing Industry (PRI) show in Orlando, Florida.

Beyond carrying the target of ultra-high performance, a central element of the TDC design brief was safety, and the use of composite materials in the construction was key to accomplishing both tasks.

Long-time Riley Technologies partner Five Star Race Car Bodies Composites, which designs and manufactures the highest quality body components, polycarbonate windshields, and body installation tools for most forms of motorsports, will host the TDC at the PRI show as part of their PRI display at booth 4501.

Joining the car will be a host of Riley Technologies representatives, who will be on hand to answer questions about the TDC, which was first shown to the public at VIR last April. Riley representatives are also likely to encounter more inquiries about the new Riley Camaro, which has proven to be a highly sought-after choice for teams entering the newly-renamed Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. Appropriately enough, the TDC will not be able to stay for the entire show, as it is slated to compete at Homestead-Miami Speedway on the 12th so will only be on display on Thursday and Friday.

It won't just be the TDC on the move this week, as Riley representatives will also be on hand for the first official test of the 2010 Grand-Am season, staged at Daytona International Speedway on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Riley Technologies is chasing an un-precedented sixth-consecutive overall victory in the Rolex 24 At Daytona in January as the firm also looks to score its seventh-consecutive Grand-Am Manufacturers Championship in 2010.

Riley will also target a return to Daytona's Victory Lane in GT Class competition as well, as the class will once again boast highly competitive field, with the Riley Mk XV GT Class Chassis being deployed by several teams campaigning the Mazda RX-8 entry. The test days will also see the new BMW M6 entry from long-time Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge competitors Turner Motorsport make its first public run on the famed 3.56-mile circuit.

"This is going to be a busy week for a lot of our guys, but we are really looking forward not only getting back to the track at Daytona, but also to having the TDC on display at PRI," said Riley Technologies VP Bill Riley. "Not only do we expect to see a lot of our customers at the show, but also lot of our key suppliers and partners will be on hand as well so it should be a very productive week for us. We are very optimistic about starting the year off on the right foot at Daytona in both the Rolex Sports Car Series as well as in the Continental Challenge with the Camaro, so the next few weeks are going to be key to those preparations."

Riley Technologies has an extended legacy of success, developing competitive on-track products for the Rolex Sports Car Series, the American LeMans Series, the USAC Gold Crown Series, and the Japanese GT Championship Series.
