The Silver State Challenge is a race held on Highway 318 running south from Lund to Hiko, Nevada. Approximately 90 miles in length this race is open to all and consists of several levels of expertise ranging from speeds of 95 mph average to unlimited speeds...

Hot Rod Magazine, August 96, issue has some excellent coverage of this event... Beg, borrow or steal this issue, it's great....
Although, I have NO association with this group or the USORRA that promotes it, I do plan on participating in the 160 mph average bracket, and in an effort to help publicize the event, I am posting this...Believe me, these people know how to treat racers....
