UTE: Sandown race two update; drivers excluded

Charges following yesterday's second race in the Poolrite V8 BRute Muster against drivers Charlie Kovacs, Darren McDonald and Noel Edge have been upheld. The charges alleged weight ballast in the drivers' cars was in a location not allowed by the regulations.

Kovacs, McDonald and Edge were excluded from the Race 2 results, losing all points. As Race 3 starting order is calculated on points accumulated in the first two races, Kovacs, McDonald and Edge will start from the rear of the grid in positions 14, 15 and 16 respectively.

With Damien White now winner of Race 2, below are the revised championship points before the final and deciding race. Only Wilson and White are in championship contention, but Young can take second if White fails to finish.
