Rolex 24 At Daytona To Receive Unprecedented Television Coverage
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., - For the first time in the history of the Rolex 24 At Daytona, the twice-around-the-clock endurance race on Feb. 3-4 will be televised live from start to finish by Speedvision.
Grand American Road Racing Series teams are thrilled with the news and anxious to see their sponsors getting more exposure.
"That's amazing," driver Tom Volk said. "What that does is let fans tune in and out. I can't see anybody at home watching all 24. They can flip back anytime they want. It'll let my business associates and other people check in on us much easier. That'll mean more to sponsors.
"I think the television coverage is a great thing because that event evolves. You don't have to watch every minute of it, but you've got to keep checking on it. Having it live makes that possible."
Still, there's nothing like experiencing the Rolex 24 live and in person. Purchase tickets for the Rolex 24 At Daytona online at www.daytonainternational.com or by calling the Speedway ticket office at (904) 253-7223.
