Bertheau, Miller Highlight TRG Lineup for Utah

Petaluma, CA (September 6, 2010)- After winning more races than any other GT team in the 2010 season, TRG returns to Miller Motorsports Park this weekend for the final rounds of the GRAND-AM season. Running in both the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask no. 16 as well as the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, the team looks to end the season on a high.

Driving the no. 66 Sargent & Lundy Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car, Steve Bertheau and Spencer Pumpelly will once again team up in pursuit of another victory. Having already won together in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, adding Bertheau to a long list of first-time series winners with TRG, the duo will be competing in their second Rolex GT race together. Pumpelly, having won the inaugural event at the famed Utah circuit, will be looking for his second series victory this year, while Bertheau looks for one more strong showing before he begins training for next year's Rolex 24 at Daytona.

For Bertheau, increased seat time and a strong showing for his sponsors is of primary importance.

"TRG has delivered a great program all year, and I'm really hoping for a strong finish to the year," stated Bertheau. "We have a number of guests coming out from Sargent & Lundy and their key guests, and we'd all like to deliver a strong showing."

Meanwhile, long-time TRG driver Steve Miller will once again return to the team's no. 41 J.Farrell & Co. Porsche 911 in the GS category of the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. Re-teaming with Spencer Pumpelly after their podium together at the season-opening round at Daytona International Speedway, the team looks forward to a second victory this season in the GS ranks.

For Miller, a chance at moving up to the top step of the podium is an exciting prospect.

"My last race with Spencer and TRG was certainly an exciting one," stated Miller. "The team always puts together an incredible car, and the layout at Miller should suit our car well."

For Spencer Pumpelly, pulling double-duty on the same day, Saturday will be a busy one.

"The long straights and fast corners at Miller should give our team a solid chance at winning in both races," stated Pumpelly. "Steve Bertheau has come quite a ways in a short year of learning. I'm really proud that we were able to provide his first professional victory to him in June, and now it's time to do the same in the Rolex series. Steve Miller is both solid and fast, and we ran really well together at Daytona earlier this year. This could be a great day for the team."

For Team Owner Kevin Buckler, the key message is to finish strong.

"We want to finish the 2010 season with one message, we are the strongest team in GT racing today and looking forward to next year," stated Buckler. "We've won more races than any other GT team this year, we've won in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, and we've even won in the ALMS. The bottom line is, we know how to win, and as either of our Steve's will tell you, we provide a solid platform for developing drivers. I'm really proud of how Steve Bertheau has progressed over the year. We've taken him from the Porsche Club ranks to the GRAND-AM winners circle in a matter of months, and I'm hoping we can show the quality of our program to all of his sponsors and guests at Sargent & Lundy this weekend. Steve Miller is a good friend of the team, and a very solid driver who has delivered for us in the past. We're happy to have him back in our tent, and hopefully we can bring him another podium."
