Following a thrilling race just two weeks ago that saw Steve Bertheau take a podium position in front of his home crowd at Road America, TRG heads to their "home track" in search of continued success at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, the eighth round of the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series.

With season-long teammate Spencer Pumpelly committed to another event, Bertheau will be joined this weekend by professional driver Ryan Eversley. Eversley, from Dacula, Georgia, teamed with the duo at Watkins Glen International Raceway one month ago and drove with TRG to an eighth place finish at the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Driving the no. 67 Sargent & Lundy Porsche GT3 Cup car, the team is hoping to take advantage of the third and fourth gear corners and uphill straightaways of the 2.2 mile, 11-turn circuit, to make a strong run at the event. TRG, notorious for impeccable race strategy, has a great history at Laguna Seca for not only being their home track, but also being able to take advantage of the inevitable caution periods that the circuit's gravel traps provide.

Additionally, the team will be joined by Daniel Graeff and Team Owner Kevin Buckler in the no. 4 Children's Tumor Foundation / Racing4Research.org Porsche, providing the first multi-car effort for the team's GRAND-AM program since Daytona.

For Kevin Buckler, delivering more results for Steve and the entire TRG organization is a top priority. "Steve has been a great part of our family for the last two years and continues to develop into a strong professional race car driver and I'm thrilled to have him on board. We came so close to victory at Road America, and Laguna Seca is definitely one of those places where we can do it. It's our home track, strategy is always a key role, and he has a great co-driver in Ryan. Having two cars with Daniel and myself behind the wheel should raise the whole program, and we look forward to supporting such a big event for the Children's Tumor Foundation and all of our friends at Sargent and Lundy."
