DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (March 6, 2006) - Rehm, 27, was a pioneer in Rolex Series Daytona Prototype competition, co-driving with Oswaldo Negri Jr., Darius Grala and Guy Cosmo in the 2003 Rolex 24 At Daytona--the first event to feature the Daytona Prototypes.
Most recently, Rehm competed in the 2006 Grand-Am Cup 200 at Daytona International Speedway for Rehagen Racing, sharing the No. 58 Mustang Cobra SVT with Joe Masessa.
Funeral arrangements are being planned for later this week in Rehm's native Plymouth, Mass. The Grand American Road Racing community extends its condolences to Josh's family and friends at this difficult time.

Rehm competed in the former Barber Dodge Pro Series in 2002 and a few Star Mazda events prior to his drives in the Rolex Series and Grand-Am Cup.
Before moving up to the Dodge Pro Dodge series, he first raced at the age of 16 in the Barber Formula Dodge regional and national series where he was twice the Formula Dodge champion.
The young racer was chosen by Skip Barber Racing School as an instructor -- a remarkable accomplishment for one so young. With racing being what it is and rides hard to land, Rehm never gave up on his dream which came to a tragic end on Sunday.
