The Subaru Road Racing Team Carries Momentum of its Inaugural Win to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course

First Grand-Am Victory for Subaru at Lime Rock Park Comes After String of Competitive Finishes

Phoenixville, PA, June 19, 2007 - During Memorial Day weekend at Lime Rock Park, the Subaru Road Racing (SRRT) proved the potential of its Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT spec.B racecars by winning the Street Tuner (ST) class race. Chuck Hemmingson and Kristian Skavnes won the Koni Challenge in their #111 car, which places them 10th in the standings despite only running a limited schedule in the series.

SRRT's four drivers - Dave Rosenblum/Davy Jones in car #141 and Chuck Hemmingson/Kristian Skavnes in car #111 - are confidently looking forward to the Mid-Ohio round in the Grand-Am circuit on June 21-24. Hemmingson and Skavnes had great success there two years ago driving Subaru Impreza WRX STI racecars for the team in the SCCA Runoffs®, finishing 1-2 in the competitive Touring 2 class.

The Koni Challenge EMCO Gears Classic 2007 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is the seventh stop on the Koni Challenge tour this season - the fourth Koni Challenge race in which the SRRT will participate. During the last year, SRRT has attracted considerable attention by earning pole position in its first race this season at Homestead-Miami Speedway in April, logging a 4th-place finish at Laguna Seca, setting fastest race laps at both Laguna Seca and Lime Rock, and winning the Lime Rock Park round.

SRRT campaigns two fully prepared Subaru Legacy 2.5 GT spec.B sedan racecars in the Koni Challenge Street Tuner (ST) class. This class features close, spirited competition, with mandatory driver changes at mid-race for each event. Hemmingson and Skavnes are paired in #111; Rosenblum and Jones drive #141.
