North Canton, OH -- Buddy Stubbs joins TheRaceSite.com Racing for the full seven remaining races of 2004 Grand Am Cup season. Stubbs' teammate will be Dr. Joe Masessa in the HRPWorld.com supported #40 Porsche.

Buddy drove another Grand Sport class car in the first three events of 2004. From those events he accumulated 44 points. Ironically, Joe Masessa also has 44 points. So the newly formed teammates are tied in the points.

Buddy's path to Grand-Am Cup, similar to Joe's, is directly from the Ferrari Challenge. Stubbs record in the Challenge series was very successful with one victory and three podiums.

Buddy's racing history goes further back than that. You have to go to the 1960's when Stubbs was a professional motorcycle racer. Buddy had a very extensive career as a pro rider, winning many races for Harley Davidson. The highlight to his CV was a victory at the Daytona 100 in 1963.

"I am excited about being a part of TheRaceSite.com Racing. I know that Joe and I will be great teammates," states Buddy. "Hopefully as the year progresses, we will get more familiar with the Porsche and be able to contest for podiums and then race victories."

Currently, Buddy owns Buddy Stubbs' Harley Davidson in Arizona. The Franchise has been open since July 16th, 1966 and he currently has the privilege of working with his sons.

TheRaceSite.com's title defending campaign in the Grand-Am Cup GS class is a reality due to the amazing support from HRPworld.com, HAWK Performance, Kempthorn Auto Mall, SpeedSource, TheRaceMarket.com, K&N Filters, Infinity2, Bob Bondurant Driving Schools, North Jersey Dermatology Center, Buddy Stubbs' Harley Davidson, Grassroots Motorsports Magazine, and 9 Magazine.
