Balfe Motorsport pair, Jamie Derbyshire and Shaun Balfe will line up on pole position for round eight of the British GT Championship at Rockingham tomorrow (August 3) after Balfe set a time almost two seconds clear of the sportscar opposition during qualifying.

Balfe's lap of 1m 36.68s was enough to state the team's intention of returning to the top of the podium after its run of bad luck over the last two races in the series. Balfe was obviously happy with the pace of the Mosler MT900R and the team's performance so far this weekend.

"The team are working really well so far this meeting and the car is behaving itself and it is making everything easy for us. We have been fine tuning the set-up and the time is just coming to us, we haven't had to push that hard to set the time."

"It's great to be in that position for the race tomorrow and hopefully we can carry it through to the end of the race." He added.

The team will hit the track tomorrow morning (Sunday) at 10:00am for the warm-up before the 75-minute race starts at 15;45.
