Ultima reaches a superb 5th in Silverstone endurance test
Master Motorsport achieves a season best in Round 5 of the British GTs

Surrey race ace Aaron Scott (www.aaronscott.co.uk), and his Master Motorsport team mate Steven Brady, were at the famous Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit on Sunday 25th May, for round 5 of the British GT Championship.

The duo qualified in 7th place for the race after spending the free practice periods working on a set up to ensure that their car would last for the 3 hour endurance.

Steven was the fist to drive in Sunday's race, and after a storming start the Ultima climbed to 3rd place before settling in 6th position. Aaron took control of the car to drive the long middle stint and climbed as high as 3rd once again, before the second round of pit stops. Steven drove the final section of the race and bought the car home in a season best 5th position.

Aaron Scott said, "This was a fantastic effort by the whole team and we had a relatively problem free weekend. I'm delighted with 5th place, as after our early season troubles not many people expected the car to finish! We are focussing now on a podium finish. I'd like to thank the whole team and my sponsors, Aerospace Fasteners and Omnico, who were there to support us on Sunday."

The next round of the British GT Championship takes place at Castle Combe on June 22nd.
