Visser, one of the most successful female junior single-seater drivers of the recent past, raced in Formula Renault 3.5 in 2014 and 2015, and stayed in the series when it was rebranded to Formula V8 3.5 last year.
The 22-year-old Dutch racer was 13th in the standings in 2016 with a best finish of fifth at Jerez, and will make a switch to GT and touring car racing by joining the BMW initiative.
"I am proud to be part of the BMW Motorsport family, I hope that this support programme will help me to become a professional racing driver," Visser said.
Alongside Visser, German driver Marschall has also been picked up by BMW, the 20-year-old having been a frontrunner in the Audi TT Cup for the past two seasons.
Marschall took part in the first two rounds of the 2017 ADAC GT Masters season in an Audi R8 LMS.
The 2017 class of the BMW junior team also includes European Formula 3 points leader Joel Eriksson and Ricky Collard, son of BTCC regular Rob, who won the SP 8T class of the Nurburgring 24 Hours earlier this year.
The line-up is completed by Mikkel Jensen and Nico Menzel, who share the #35 Walkenhorst Motorsport BMW in the Blancpain Endurance Series.
