The Winter Series by GT Sport, successfully inaugurated in 2013, will again include three events, on the same circuits as last year, taking place over two days, on Fridays and Saturdays. While the Jerez stop will only be devoted to testing, the rounds in Paul Ricard and Barcelona-Catalunya will include two races of 50 minutes each.

These competitions are obviously completely independent from the official championship which will start later in the spring. “We were totally satisfied with the first Winter Series experience carried out in 2013”, commented Jesús Pareja, CEO of GT Sport, “and look forward to repeat it next year.

There is a great demand among teams and drivers to have track time ahead of the start of the season, both for testing and for competing in a race configuration, and we are delighted to put together this programme.”

Details of the 2014 Winter Series for GTs are as follows:

JEREZ, 14 – 15 February 2014 (Test)

Saturday : Test (4 hours)
