Nurburg (Germany), September 18, 2014. Next weekend Scuderia Villorba Corse gets back in the Blancpain Endurance Series for the crucial challenge: the iRacing.com Nürburgring 1000. The race, one of the classics in endurance history, is the season finale of the international championship, where Italian team led by Raimondo Amadio is leading both the Pro-Am Cup driver and team standings.

Castellacci out and Kemenater in for this great final fight which, in fact, means a double fight to us

On their #90 Ferrari 458 GT3 there will be, as usual, Stefano Gai and Andrea Rizzoli, who in Germany, for their title assault, will be joined for the first time by another Italian driver: Thomas Kemenater. So there is a change in the Villorba crew as the team is replacing Castellacci.

On Saturday September 20, following two free practice sessions in the morning, Gai / Rizzoli / Kemenater will start the qualifying practice at 17:15. On Sunday the 1000 kilometres or six hours race will start at 11:45 and will be broadcasted live on www.blancpain-gt-series.com (clicking on GT TV) and (also deferred or through highlights) worldwide on many TV channels.

“Castellacci out and Kemenater in for this great final fight which, in fact, means a double fight to us - says Raimondo Amadio, Team Principal -. We are aware that a very difficult and demanding job is expecting the whole team at the Nürburgring. Our goal is to end in the best possible way this first half of a very long and satisfying season.”
