Bentley Team HTP will start the fourth round of the Blancpain Sprint Series at Moscow Raceway on July 4th with a new driver. Max van Splunteren strengthens the driver line up of Bentley Team HTP, and while the 19-year old Dutchman will start in Russia start a race in a Bentley Continental GT3 for the first time, he is not new to the car.
Van Splunteren was part of Bentley Team HTP´s extensive pre-season test program and has already gained experience in the Bentley racer. He will form a duo with fellow countryman Jules Szymkowiak, and together they will compete in the Silver Cup reserved for young drivers.
Bentley Team HTP team principal Norbert Brückner said: "I’m very pleased that we can finally give Max van Splunteren the chance to race the Bentley Continental GT3. He has been part of our team since we started testing with the Bentley Continental GT3 and has already gained experience at numerous tests. He is now well prepared for his first race and we are convinced that he and Jules will be a very strong combination.“
The drivers of the second Bentley Continental GT3 are unchanged with Vincent Abril and Maximilian Buhk forming a strong duo. The qualifying and feature races at Moscow Raceway will be held on July 4th.
