The sixth round of the FIA GT championship is back again in Donington this weekend for its sixth round. Matteo Bobbi who is currently second in the classification with team-mate Gabriele Gardel, wants to put Brno's disappointing finale behind him this weekend on the English track .At the last round, Matteo, who was 2nd, retired just inches away from the finish line due to technical problems.
Last year Matteo Bobbi and Thomas Biagi won on this 4.023 m track.
Matteo Bobbi
"During the long break between Brno and Donington, I worked hard on my physical condition seeing that it wasn't possible for me to test the car. Therefore, I'll be in Donington in tip top shape. This race along with the 24 hours of Spa where double points are awarded, will be very important and will determine who will be the main candidates battling for the title.
On my part, I'm very optimist. I have a very competitive car even if no modifications have been made since the last race and I also know that I could count on my team that has proven to have a very enviable organization in the last few years."
