Gabriele Flies To Dubai For The Next FIA GT Round.
Gabriele Lancieri's commitment to the FIA GT championship in the 2004 season continues. The driver from Imola, Italy is presently in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to compete in the second last round of the international Grand touring championship.
Gabriele and all of the other drivers will be making their debut on this Arab circuit: the Dubai track is 5934 m long and is right in the middle of the desert. The heat will be a determining factor at this race but Lancieri, who is already in great shape, has physically prepared himself to deal with the high temperature in the cockpit.

"For all the teams and the drivers, Dubai will be a new and exciting adventure. I hope that I can do just as well here as I did in Imola. In Imola, I was in 4th place until the end of the second hour and battled it out with the 2 Maserati cars. I can't wait to get back into action!"
