Callaway Competition with football-fever to Brno New spectacular look for the Hohenadel/Keilwitz Corvette
Backed by a victory at the season opener of the 2010 FIA GT3 European Championship at Silverstone, Callaway Competition travels to the Czech Republic for round two of the championship at the Brno. The two Callaway Competition-Corvette Z06.R GT3, developed and built by Callaway Competition in Leingarten/Germany, will be driven by the winning duo from Silverstone, Christian Hohenadel (D) and Daniel Keilwitz (D), and the two Dutchmen Marius Ritskes and Bernard van Oranje. The Corvette of Hohenadel/Keilwitz will race in a spectacular new football design and will be unveiled Friday.
After their victory at Silverstone at the first weekend of May, Christian Hohenadel and Daniel Keilwitz are confident for another podium position at Brno. "The track is new for me and my teammate Daniel (Keilwitz), but after Silverstone I'm very confident, as our car is really great", Christian Hohenadel says. "We were "rewarded"with success ballast after Silverstone, but a podium position should be possible. Although it will not easy, as we already saw at Silverstone that the competition in this years championship is really hard."
"Brno is a track well suited for our Corvette, we have been very successful on this track in the past", Callaway Competition boss Ernst Woehr is confident. "There was a little change in the Balance of Performance of our car after the Silverstone round, but we still got all chances for a good result at Brno and I hope we can repeat our success from the season opener."
Overall, six Callaway built Corvette Z06.R GT3 will start in this weekend second round of the FIA GT3 European Championship. Beside the two Callaway Competition cars, Graff Racing from France and Toni Seiler Racing from Switzerland will enter two Corvette each.
