And it looks like the night test session for the 24h could well be wet....

CAR 29 - ANTHONY REID/GILLES DUQUEINE

Both drivers got a run, completing 11 laps between them. Reid posted 7th fastest time, but had reduced the earlier gap of 2.42s to 1.1s behind the leading Aston Martin. Having driven two of the team's cars today, Reid was in no doubt which was quicker "the ratios in the sequential box in the 29 car seem to suit Spa much better than the standard box".

CAR 30 - BENOIT ROUSSELOT/GAEL LESSOUDIER

Rousselot and Lessoudier missed the session as the team continued to try to debug the electronics on the car. The compulsory FIA data monitor was upsetting the car as it did in Oschersleben where it caused the ABS system to blow fuses.

CAR31 - Stephane Lacroix/Maxime Dubrulle

The need for a gearbox change deprived this car of running in the session. Lacroix wasn't too worried as he had driven in the 24h session but Maxime Dubrulle would have liked a run. His experience from Oschersleben, where he impressed the team with his ability to be quick and bring the car home, will stand him in good stead come qualifying tomorrow.

With 2 more sessions to do this evening and additional lighting to refit, the team is definitely 'feeling the burn' in this marathon weekend. If dedication pays rewards, the results will be the best possible because the effort is just incredible in the Pouchelon Racing garage.
