German sports car pilot Stefan Mucke without racing adoption at Navarra (Spain) at the GT1 World Championship - After a crash at the free training the car wasn't venturous

Berlin/Navarra (rol/ot) Bad luck for German sports car pilot Stefan Mucke: Usually the Aston Martin works driver from Berlin wanted to get a place on the podium at the eights season event with the runs 15 and 16 of the FIA GT1 World Championship at the new track of Navarra (Northern Spain) last weekend (23rd to 24th of October). But this couldn't have happened at all. The 28 year old that is sharing the cockpit of the Aston Martin DBR9 for the Team Young Driver AMR (Paderborn/Copenhagen) with the Dane Christoffer Nygaard, couldn't start either on Sunday morning at the one hour Qualifying Race nor in the afternoon at the also one hour Championship Race.

Nygaard hit the guard rails on Saturday at the free training after a spin-out and the back of the DBR9 has been damaged very much. So Mucke/Nygaard already had to skip all the time training sessions. The night to Sunday there should have come the needed parts from Paderborn to build up the car for the races but some of them arrived not until Sunday afternoon at Spain.

"This is really disappointing. I only drove six timed laps on Saturday at the free training. After that there was nothing", Stefan Mucke aggravated. "Now I want to concentrate on the season final of the GT1 championship at South America", tells the Berlin. The ninth and tenth season events of the FIA GT1 World Championship are scheduled for the last November weekend at Brazil and the first December weekend at Argentina.
