SAN LUIS: COUNTER-CHARGE DESIRE FOR MATTEO BOBBI AFTER THE UNLUCKY WEEKEND AT INTERLAGOS
The world FIA GT1 Championship is about to live the 2010 season finale at San Luis.
The Argentine track already housed in 2008 the final round of the championship in an event that harvested a lot of success; organizers intend to repeat if not go beyond that success in this occasion.
The weekend will be an immediate chance to counter -charge for Matteo Bobbi, in crew with Markus Palttala, who will be at the wheel of the number 41 Ford GT belonging to team Marc VDS Racing, after the bad luck of last weekend in Brazil when the breakage of the right rear suspension compromised in the finale a good qualifying race and, consequently, the race.
Matteo Bobbi:
"In qualifying at St Paul we have been competitive and we aim to
confirming the same level of performance here too. Certainly there will
be pitfalls, such as the intense hot and pavements that we will find in a
semi-street circuit: it is gonna be crucial to stay out of troubles and
if this will happen than I believe the points zone could be a realistic
target".
