Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Tuesday Morning Practice Notes

Due to yesterday's weather, the full course was not open for practice today. PPIHC Race Director Phil Layton said that six inches of snow fell at the summit and the temperature there was 20(F this morning. Officials decided the course was too icy and dangerous at Glen Cove and above, so practice was only run between the Start Line and the Ski Area for all competitors. If the weather cooperates, practice for all competitors tomorrow will only take place between the Ski Area to the Finish Line at the summit.
