Lites: Utah round three, four preview

IMSA LITES DRIVERS READY FOR MILLER MOTORSPORTS PARK

BRASELTON, Ga. May 12 -- Rounds three and four of the IMSA Lites presented by Hankook Series are right around the corner and the competition is gearing up for another exciting weekend at Miller Motorsports Park near Salt Lake City, Utah.

Jonathan Goring swept rounds one and two at Sebring International Raceway in March, but faced stiff competition from series veteran Joel Feinberg and newcomer Ricky Taylor.

"Jonathan Goring proved he'll be the biggest competition after winning both races at Sebring," Taylor said. "I think I definitely had the speed at Sebring and Miller will be good for me and we can show what the team can do."

IMSA Lites teams competed on the 4.5-mile full course at Miller Motorsports Park last year with the American LeMans Series. This year drivers will race on the 3.06-mile Outer Loop course.

Ricky Taylor has raced at Miller once before. "I like the high speed section of the track," he said. "I don't think they changed much of that."

Practice and qualifying take place Friday, May 16th. Round three kicks off Saturday, May 17th at 11:40 a.m. Round four will be at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, May 18th. For more information visit www.imsa-lites.com.
