Daytona Beach, FL (January 23, 2014) - Qualifying took place earlier today at Daytona International Speedway for the first round of the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge series. The Fall-Line Motorsports BMW M3s fell victim to a shortened qualifying session that allowed only a few green flag laps that didn't permit the three drivers to show their true potential.

The #46 driven by Trent Hindman was the fastest of the three who have all been quick in practice sessions thus far and he and co-driver John Edwards will start 3 rd for the BMW Performance 200 tomorrow. Ashley Freiberg qualified 12th in the #48 that she shares with teammate Shelby Blackstock and Steve Bertheau qualified 25th in the #47 that is also driven by Spencer Pumpelly.

Trent Hindman, #46 Trim-Tex/ Cirocco Ozzimo/ Atlas Acon/ DFL Interiors/ Fall-Line Motorsports BMW (P3 1:56:230): "We're extremely happy to start the season off with a P3 qualifying effort. We've been strong throughout all of the test sessions and it's encouraging to see that we're right there. All of these guys at Fall-Line have worked incredibly hard to give John (Edwards) and I a car that we can compete with, and I think we'll do just that tomorrow. I have no doubts that we'll be right in the hunt for the win!"

Ashley Freiberg, #48 Starstruck Entertainment/ TrueCar/ Fall-Line Motorsports BMW (P12 1:57:803): "It is unfortunate that qualifying ended up as it did because my predicted lap before the red flag showed that I had potential to be on pole. Luckily I know that we have a solid car for race distance so as long as we stay out of trouble I am confident Shelby and I could drive the car to the front. Let's go racing!"

Steve Bertheau, #47 Sargent & Lundy/ Fall-Line Motorsports BMW(P25 2:02:755): "Qualifying was a little tough because of some traffic issues and a red flag that really limited us. No worries though - the Fall-Line BMW is strong and the crew and engineers are spot on. We are looking forward to a great race!"

Michael Harvey, Fall-Line Motorsports Team Manager: "Interesting qualifying that became a one lap lottery blotted by red flags. Both Trent (Hindman) and Ashley (Freiberg) drove great today and will be really strong in the race. The Fall-Line BMWs have great speed and I am excited for the BMW Performance 200 tomorrow."

The 2.5 hour BMW Performance 200 at Daytona International Speedway takes place Friday, January 24 at 1:45p-4:15p ET and can be viewed on Fox Sports 2 shortly after from 6p-8p ET.
