TRG-AMR North America has signed European GT racing star Christina Nielsen for the entire 2015 TUDOR United Sportscar Championship and North American Endurance Cup seasons. Co-driving with Nielsen is 2014 TRG-AMR driver, James Davison.

Davison finished off the season with four consecutive TUSC pole positions (Road America, VIR, COTA, and Petit Le Mans) and a Continental Tire Sportscar Challenge win (Kansas) under his belt, as well as racing in the iconic Indy 500.

For the NAEC series races other select drivers will be chosen after further testing and evaluation by the team competition department and engineers. The Petaluma-based squad is working on plans for running a multi-car IMSA GTD program in 2015, with heavy emphasis on the North American Endurance Championship and even the possibility of a return trip to Le Mans.

Sebring shakedown

The duo of Nielsen and Davison will begin winter season testing immediately, starting with a full three-day shakedown at Sebring International Raceway on November 21-23. This is one of the last major testing opportunities in the off-season and the team will be evaluating qualified drivers for the upcoming endurance races. While other testing opportunities will be available at Sonoma, this will be the last major testing event prior to the Roar Before the 24 in early January at Daytona.

Christina Nielsen, TRG-AMR Team Driver: “I'm so excited to be joining TRG-AMR for 2015 and I really appreciate that we were able to put this top level program together. This allows us to immediately start focusing on working in one direction, learning the team, chemistry and the tracks and of course the V12 Vantage GT3 - one of the strongest options in the field right now!

"The team has proven their speed and the results speak for themselves. I have no doubt that we can turn this into a real run for a championship next year. It's now time for some hard work and in January the fun truly begins.”
