Daytona International Speedway announced today the 65th edition of the Rolex 24 will take place January 28-31, 2027. Additionally, the Roar Before the Rolex 24 will run from January 22-24.

“With so many fans traveling from all 50 states and dozens of countries for North America’s most prestigious sportscar race, we wanted to give fans plenty of time to make their travel and lodging plans for the 2027 Rolex 24,” said Frank Kelleher, President of Daytona International Speedway.

“This event continues to showcase an incredible twice-around-the-clock marathon with the world’s top drivers and teams. We’re looking forward to welcoming fans back to the World Center of Racing for the 64th running of the Rolex 24 next weekend.”

The date change provides Daytona International Speedway better alignment to its event calendar, which includes the 69th running of the Daytona 500 moving off its traditional Presidents’ Day weekend and set to take place February 21, 2027.

Porsche Penske Motorsport won its second consecutive Rolex 24 last year, with a No. 7 Porsche 963 driver roster comprised of Felipe Nasr, Nick Tandy and Laurens Vanthoor. Nasr was the only member of the trio who was part of 2024’s winning entry.

This year’s Rolex 24 will be Jan. 21-25, with the Roar Before the Rolex 24 taking place later this week Jan. 16-18.
