Guasch will again pair up with Gunnar Jeannette and Frankie Montecalvo in the #52 Bayshore Recycling/Molecule Labs FLM09 PC with the PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports team.

Sebring marks the second round of the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup (NAEC).

The TUDOR United SportsCar Championship returns to competition after the season opening Rolex 24 at Daytona in January. In their first attempt at the famed Daytona race, Guasch and team forged a continual battle against an ailing electrical system to score a 4th place finish.

One year removed from the team’s last Prototype Challenge win, Guasch looks to lead the charge to the podium again. “We’re looking forward to getting back to Sebring. We’ll have a few days of testing and with our previous experience there, we have quite a few notes to rely on to get up to speed,” Guasch noted. “We’ve been able to score two victories at Sebring, but with as deep as the field is now, it’s a whole new challenge.

Guasch, affectionately referred to as Molecule Mike, recently helped the team shake down their newly-built Oreca FLM09PC chassis at Buttonwillow Raceway. “We were able to salvage solid points in Daytona. Getting into a new chassis puts us into a great position for the three big remaining Endurance Cup rounds.

Armed with a new chassis, the team will also be revealing a series of exciting announcements to highlight new partners in addition to maintaining the familiar Molecule branding.

The PR1/Mathiasen team will be ontrack in Sebring as part of the series test later in the week with the official event schedule kicking off March 13.
