Hour 15: Several prototypes still in contention
The battle up front continues to be tight, despite 15 straight hours of racing.

On the 18th restart of the race, Marc Goosens held court at the front of the field, but was promptly passed by Dane Cameron out of the International Hairpin. The No. 31 Action Express Corvette DP did not get very far though.
The battle at the front heated up with five prototypes all within a second of each other. Goosens eventually returned the favor and retook the top spot for the No. 90 Visit Florida team. It's also worth noting that every car inside the top five is a Daytona Prototype.
In the final minutes of the hour, a new round of stops commenced. A Flash fire during the pit stop for the No. 31 Action Express DP cost the team a substantial amount of time.
After the cycle of stops and a handful of driver changes, Joao Barbosa emerged as the race leader in the No. 5 AXR entry.
The ever-changing GTLM battle has shifted into Corvette's favor with the No. 4 leading the way now.
The PC class has had a rough go of it during this race and because of the many issues, the No. 85 JDC-Miller Motorsports ORECA holds an astounding 18-lap advantage over their nearest competition. But right at as the hour turned over, Kenton Koch stuffed the PC into a tire barrier, sustaining rather significant damage. He did manage to drive the car back to the pits.
In GTD, the No. 73 Park Place Motorsports Porsche led the way until a one-lap penalty, which handed P1 over to Alex Job Racing's No. 22 Porsche.
