Memo Rojas, who paired with driver Scott Pruett for four TUDOR United SportsCar Championships (previously Grand Am), will no longer drive with Pruett and Chip Ganassi Racing, according to a post on Rojas' web site over the weekend.

"The Scuderia Telmex and Memo Rojas Jr., have jointly decided to terminate the successful relationship with Chip Ganassi Racing. This alliance had a lot of success for several years which strengthened both parties and created a U.S. and Mexican icon in motorsport. The victories and championships won by this alliance will be a symbol of a successful relationship.

Eight years

"During the eight years Memo and Telmex Ganassi were together, [they won] four team titles and 30 victories, the highlights including three wins at the 24 Hours of Daytona, three in the 6 Hours of Watkins Glen and one victory in the 12 Hours of Sebring, among other great achievements. Telmex and Memo Rojas Jr., wish for Chip Ganassi Racing all the best for the future of the organization."

Said Rojas: "Certainly I will remember it fondly, but hey, like everything in life there are cycles and this one with Chip Ganassi Racing has ended. I am excited and anxious to announce my future plans shortly."

Rumors persist that Joey Hand, who recently parted ways with BMW, will be Rojas' replacement.
