After an off-season evaluating various motorsports directions, Guasch reunited with the PR1 team to put a championship effort in motion.

“It’s been an interesting offseason. With all the changes happening in SportsCar racing, we weren’t sure where the chips would fall. After seeing the strengths of the Tudor USCC come together, specifically in PC, we’re really excited about the outlook,” explained Molecule Labs driver Guasch. “It’s a great schedule in top markets, with some of the world’s most prestigious endurance races and now with the unified series, the best competition.”

Guasch and team are still finalizing details, however prospects of taking on the full season championship are quite strong. “We’re going to the Roar with eyes on competing for the Prototype Challenge championship. There’s still a few things to come together, but we’re looking forward to taking the green for the Rolex 24.

PR1/Mathiasen is one of ten teams awarded a full-season entry for upcoming championship. The 10-event schedule spans the United States highlighted by the North American Endurance Championship events at Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen and Road Atlanta. Guasch and the PR1/Mathiasen team will be solidifying driver pairings for #52 Molecule car with further announcements in upcoming days.
