The new season kick starts at Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore during the July 7-9 weekend, with the next two rounds in August and September at the same venue.

The dates for the third round in September, though, is yet to be finalised.

With a break in October, the action will resume at the Buddh International Circuit for the season finale on November 17-19.

The 2016 season saw JK Tyre introduce a major upgrade to its single-seater championship, which was renamed to Euro JK in partnership with Euro International.

The car had paddle shifts to bring it in line with other junior series around the world. Changes made on the wings and tyres brought aerodynamic and mechanical gains.

A tune-up of the BMW engine and other upgrades meant the cars were about seven seconds faster at the BIC.

Alongside Euro JK, dates for the JK Tyre Rotax Max National Karting championship were also released with the season starting in June at Kolhapur.

The series would then move to Hyderabad for the next two rounds in July and August, before the penultimate weekend in Coimbatore in September, followed by the final round in Bangalore in November.
