The German F4 champion dethroned Mick Schumacher in Dubai to take a comfortable 28 points lead in the championship from Harrison Newey.

Schumacher's double retirement dropped him to fourth behind Brazil's Felipe Drugovich, who took his maiden win in the Indian international series in Race 2 at the Autodrome.

The four drivers are still very much in contention for the title, separated by 41 points as the championship heads towards the business end of the season.

Behind them, Juri Vips sits fifth ahead of a returning Formula 3 driver Ralf Aron, who missed the second round in Dubai.

The latter half in the Top 10 has Brazil's Pedro Cardoso in seventh, German Kimi Schramm eighth, Australia's Dylan Young ninth and Zane Goddard 10th - the latter making his debut in Round 2.

Having taken a podium finish in the final race in Dubai, Goddard is marked as TBC in the entry list, along with newly-crowned Formula 4 South East Asia champion Presley Martono.

The Indonesian and his F4 SEA rival, Malaysia's Chia Wing Hoong are the two fresh names joining the series in Round 3 at BIC.
