A reverse grid start meant Chetan Korada was on pole with Karthik Tharani starting alongside him at the front row. Narendran started third while Parekh was fourth.

Tharani made a good start leading the race going into the first corner but by the time they reached the fourth corner, he and Narendran had a contact which dropped Tharani to seventh.

Narendran took the lead with Parekh second and Korada down to third. Behind them, Tejas Ram and Jai Sampath dropped to the back of the field after an incident.

Parekh was always on the tail of Narendran and pushed hard for the win but the Coimbatore- based driver held his line and took the chequered flag while Parekh settled for second and Tharani moved from seventh to third.

Tharani after conceding the championship lead to Parekh had something to cheer about registering the fastest lap of the race (1:42.858); he drove a good race after the early contact.

Korada ended fourth after starting on pole, he was defending his position from Ram who had a hard day coming from the back of the field.

Niranjan Todkari ended sixth, Anshul Shah seventh while actor/racer Sampath was eighth and Utkarsh Singh ninth.

Parekh is the new leader of the championship followed by Tharani and Narendran.
