DREYER & REINBOLD RACING DETERMINED TO HAVE A STRONG SHOWING IN LONG BEACH

Indianapolis, IN (April 12, 2011) - Dreyer & Reinbold Racing is determined to have a strong showing for the third round of the 2011 IZOD IndyCar Series in Long Beach, California this weekend. DRR will be visiting the 1.968 mile temporary street circuit for the third time in their 12 year history and their odds are stacked pretty high with racing pros, Justin Wilson (No. 22 Z-Line Designs) and Ana Beatriz (No. 24 Ipiranga), competing for them.

Prepared to settle some unfinished business this weekend is team veteran, Justin Wilson. The Briton was close to reaching the top step of the podium in Long Beach last year and he's hoping 2011 is his chance. Despite breaking his wrist at the season opener in St. Pete three weeks ago, Wilson is prepared to carry that determination and get back to familiar ground this weekend. The veteran has had a lot of success at the famed Long Beach track and he is prepared to be one of the one's to beat on Sunday. Last year, Wilson started 3rd and finished 2nd. In 2008, the Englishman started on the pole for the final Champ Car race. He has competed in the Long Beach Champ Car races from 2004-2008. Wilson's best finish was second in 2010 and 2006 with fourth place finishes in 2005 and 2007.

As he ventures on his quest for victory on the streets of Long Beach, Wilson will pilot the No. 22 Z-Line Designs livery for the first time this season. Z-Line Designs is a leading import manufacturer of ready-to-assemble furniture in a range of materials from solid American oak, birch, and maple to mixed media combinations of wood, metal, and glass. With manufacturing plants in China and Taiwan, Z-Line Designs is one of the most innovative manufacturers of computer desk systems, computer workstations, computer armoires, file/storage products, and a large variety of television, audio, and entertainment centers. Products are distributed primarily through mass merchants that include Walmart, Target, Staples, Office Max, Costco and various other major retailers not only in the United States but Canada, Mexico and South America.

Making her comeback this weekend is Ana Beatriz who will return to the No. 24 Ipiranga machine. The Brazilian had to sit out for the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama due to an injury sustained at the season opener in St. Pete. Three weeks ago, Beatriz incurred the injury on the fifth lap in Turn 5 when she made contact with the No. 38 car driven by Graham Rahal. The Brazilian managed to soldier through the race as she advanced six positions and brought the car home in 14th place. As a result of the incident, she fractured her scaphoid bone (wrist) and had to have surgery two weeks ago. Beatriz was re-evaluated on Monday and has been given the all-clear to drive. She has been fitted for a special carbon fiber brace that she will wear when she is in the car.

The Ipiranga/Dreyer & Reinbold Racing pilot proved her skills at the season opener in St. Pete. Despite driving the entire race with a broken wrist, she mastered the double-file restarts and improved her starting position by six places. While this will be her first time to race in Long Beach in the top-level of the sport she does have prior experience at the circuit as she ran in the Firestone Indy Lights Series with Sam Schmidt Motorsports in 2009.

Dreyer & Reinbold Racing will be on track for the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach in Long Beach, California on April 17th. The race telecast will air live on Sunday, April 17th at 3:30 pm (ET) on VERSUS. The race will air live on the IMS Radio Network, XM channel 145, and Sirius channel 211. What they have to say about the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach...

Justin Wilson, No. 22 Z-Line Designs: "I'm really looking forward to Long Beach. We were strong there last year and I think we will be again this year. Everyone is fired up over the last two races we've had and we're ready to get the season started. Our aim is to get pole position and to go for the podium. We are going to give it all we've got and we're ready for the weekend."

Justin on his wrist: "My wrist is feeling fine, it just has a little bit of throbbing, not too bad. I'm hoping once I get a rhythm through the hairpin that I will be fine."

Ana Beatriz, No. 24 Ipiranga: "I'm very happy to be back in the car for this weekend. I was disappointed that I couldn't be in the car at Barber, but I learned a lot from another angle being there with the team. I know the Long Beach track as I raced there in Indy Lights so I feel prepared going into the weekend. My wrist will be sore, but the doctors said that I will be okay. I may not be 100 percent, but I will push through it and I'm ready to get back in the Ipiranga car."
