No. 77 Bowers & Wilkins/La Capsule Sportive/TorcUP FAZZT Race Team News and Notes:

Driver Alex Tagliani started in 19th position for the Homestead Miami event but with a lot of hard work from Tagliani, the engineers and the crew, he was able to finish a very respectable 14th. Tagliani did not have an easy time in the race but with a proper pit strategy he was able to move up through the field and even spend some time in the lead position. The original pit strategy that the team was running would have helped Tagliani to finish in the top ten with ease, unfortunately a late race yellow came out changing the plan and the outcome.

Alex Tagliani on the Cafe Do Brasil Indy 300 Race :

"It was a pretty good race until the last restart. The boys did a good job, and the car was getting faster with each lap. All the way through the race we were able to be competitive on restarts and we were able to make some up some ground and were able to make it all the way up to 11th. We were pushed us up into the grey on the last restart and lost a bunch of positions. We fought back all the way through, we were side by side with Carpenter off the last corner on the last lap but it was just a little too late. Other than that it was a good race, we had a top ten car and were able to drive up through the field."

Rob Edwards, COO/General Manager:

"An exciting race, a good drive from Alex and another excellent job from the crew. Don, Phil and the guys have given us a 100% reliability record in our first year and are to be congratulated on that. Disappointing not to finish a little higher tonight and secure twelfth in the points but we have a lot to be thankful for from this season and we will go into the break excited about our prospects for 2011."
