Fountain,CO: On the heels of a sixth place finish at the one mile oval in Phoenix, rookie Felipe Giaffone took to the fast, flat one mile oval of Pikes Peak International Raceway in Fountain Colorado where he turned a lap of 20.38 seconds in private testing. Giaffone and the Treadway- Hubbard team took advantage of ideal conditions during their trip to the west and completed 200 laps in their #21 Hollywood/G-Force/Oldsmobile/ Firestone.

"We were fast off the truck", said Giaffone. "I really like the race track and all the beautiful scenery. It's spectacular. The car is really good. We ran both qualifying set ups and full tanks. I wish we were racing here next week, because the track will definitely change by the time we get back here in June. The conditions were ideal so we still have some work to do, but we learned a few things and we will run again tomorrow".

Giaffone and team will test at Pikes Peak International Raceway again Wednesday before returning to Indianapolis to prepare for the Infiniti Grand Prix of Miami in Homestead Florida on April 8.
