MIAMI (March 13, 2001) -- Race fans at Homestead-Miami Speedway will be able to meet all of the drivers from the Indy Racing in an autograph session during the April 6-8 Infiniti Grand Prix of Miami presented by 123.com Americatel. The session will be held from 4:30 -- 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, and will be free of charge to all general admission ticket holders.

The 19th annual running of the Grand Prix will feature the drivers and cars from the Indianapolis 500 for the first time at Homestead Miami Speedway. Indy 500 winners Al Unser Jr., Eddie Cheever Jr. and Buzz Calkins will join Greg Ray, Scott Sharp, Sarah Fisher, Mark Dismore, Eliseo Salazar, Casey Mears and all the stars of the Indy Racing Northern Lights Series will participate in the session, which will be held in the Paddock area near pit road.

"We enjoy the autograph sessions, because it gives the fans time to meet the drivers," said Indy Racing driver Sam Hornish Jr. "It gives the fans the chance to get involved with the race. I really enjoy the sessions. It gives us a great opportunity to spend time with the race fans who come to watch us compete. It's real interesting to hear their stories -- they're pretty funny at times. Coming to Miami for the first time, I'm hoping we can pick up a lot of new fans for Indy Racing."
