Dario Franchitti, #27 ArcaEx Dallara/Honda/Firestone

"It was nice to get qualifying behind us yesterday. Now, we can just focus on one thing, which is obviously the race. There was always that question of 'how fast can we go, how fast do we need to go.' I'm a lot happier now and we're definitely getting a lot closer with the ArcaEx car. We're only interested in one thing now. We're starting up front and we're going to try and get a car to win the race with."

Dario Franchitti Facts
Franchitti will start on the outside of the front row in the 88th Indianapolis 500.
Indianapolis marks Franchitti's eighth IndyCar Series start and second start in the Indianapolis 500.
In his only other Indy 500 start (2002), Franchitti qualified 28th and finished 19th.
Franchitti is coming off his first top-10 finish of the season, which came in the form of a seventh at Twin Ring Motegi on April 17.

Allen McDonald, Race Engineer, #27 ArcaEx Dallara/Honda/Firestone

"We're very happy with the baseline race setup on the ArcaEx car. We worked with both Dan and Tony, and learned a lot by working together like that. We have some things that we need to improve on and some things that we need to test on Wednesday. But, I think we're really encouraged by our baseline." -AGR-
