"Driver of the Century" A. J. Foyt will sign autographs at the Harrah's Casino Friday night (April 21) from 8:00 to 8:30 p.m. The event is open to the public.

Tony Stewart is taking advantage of his weekend off from the NASCAR Winston Cup Series to work as the crew chief on the No. 21 Tri Star Motorsports entry driven by Dr. Jack Miller. Stewart, a part owner of Tri Star Motorsports, will call the race from Miller's pits on Saturday. Tri Star will also field an entry for Jeret Schroeder of Vineland, NJ.

Jason Leffler is entered in the Treadway-Vertex Cunnigham Racing No. 55 for Saturday's Vegas 300. Leffler competes in the NASCAR Busch Grand National Series for team owner Joe Gibbs..

Al Unser Jr. and team owner Rick Galles celebrated birthdays on April 19. Unser is 38, while Galles turned 54.

Mall.com announced Wednesday it has moved from an associate sponsor to become the title sponsor of the No. 5 Treadway Racing entry driven by Robby McGehee. Mall.com, based in Austin, TX, will also be the title sponsor of the season ending race at Texas Motor Speedway.

Team Xtreme Racing announced today a new primary sponsor for the No. 16 car driven by Davey Hamilton. Freeinternet.com, through its brand freei, will sponsor both Team Xtreme cars, driven by Hamilton and Airton Dare.

Eddie Cheever Jr. inducted Ayrton Senna into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame at Talladega on April 13. Other drivers honored at the ceremony were Mario Andretti, Craig Breedlove, A. J. Foyt, Nelson Piquet and Don Prudhomme.

The Logan Racing Special driven by Andy Michner will not compete at this event.
