Scott Dixon -- No. 9 Target Toyota
Qualified -- 1st
Speed -- 171.182 mph

"Team Target has been doing such a great job all year long. It's great to be on the pole here in Nazareth. I really enjoy this track with the elevation changes and the 3 different corners. Toyota is strong here again this weekend and they're a big reason for our success this year. We need to go out there tomorrow and try to lead every lap and win the race. That's how we approach every race. If you think too much about the championship, it can hurt you. Myself and Team Target are going to try and do what we've done all year long and try to win the race tomorrow."

Tomas Scheckter -- No. 10 Target Toyota
Qualified -- 4th
Speed -- 170.099 mph

"We qualified right about where we practiced. It's good to have a starting spot up front here. It's hard to pass, so I think that we're in good shape for the race tomorrow. Scott (Dixon) and I were 1-2 in practice yesterday and it would be great to see both of these Target cars up front again tomorrow. We have worked a lot on race setup so far this weekend and we're in position to get our first win of the season."

Notes:

- This is Dixon's 5th pole of the year and the 7th for Team Target in the last 11 races.

- The pole win by Dixon leaves him one shy of the all-time IndyCar Series record of six held by Billy Boat.

- Dixon has won 5 poles in the last 11 races.

- It is the 12th straight top-6 start for Scott Dixon.

- In the last 12 races, Scott Dixon's average qualifying position is 2.4, including 5 poles, two seconds, a third, a fourth, a fifth and a sixth.

- Scheckter recorded his 6th straight starting position of 7th or better.

- Team Target has won 8 out of their last 14 poles.
